I’m a design researcher

I help medical device product teams frame and respond to complex healthcare challenges by understanding and advocating for human needs. 

About Me

I’m an Architect of User Researcher at GE Healthcare. I work on pre-market medical devices, so I can’t share my most recent work here, but I try to update as things become public! I’ve also:

• adjunct taught undergraduate courses on design research at Tufts and RISD;

• led design research and strategy on AI-enabled radiology solutions at IBM Watson Health;

• earned a Master's in Industrial Design from the Rhode Island School of Design and a Bachelor's in Cultural Anthropology from Northwestern University;

• conducted audience research and evaluation for museums such as the Detroit Institute of Arts, Shedd Aquarium, Chicago History Museum, the Exploratorium, and many more;

• was formerly an aspiring opera singer.

I consider myself an expert-generalist; I value breadth of knowledge and enjoy knowing a little bit about a lot of things. Grab my resume to learn more.

Career Vision

I want to enable more equitable access to healthcare through the responsible, conext-sensitive adoption of technology. As a breast cancer survivor, I have a particular passion for women’s health and democratizing access to early detection screening.
